Develop Student Video Projects

This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge) or Level Two (Instructional Level) who knows how to create a simple video with in-camera editing techniques and wants students to create a video project as part of the curriculum that is aligned to content standards. Students will need to work collaboratively in teams to be able to complete a video. This opportunity will help you structure the project so students take ownership yet work well together to finish and share their projects.

Purpose to be able to create a project where students create videos as part of the curriculum
Objectives review curriculum to define specific content for projects align project with content standards apply basic instructional design principles to project design unit where students work in small groups have students plan and storyboard ideas for videos develop management and rotation strategies develop assessment rubric with students have students implement, evaluate, and share projects collaborate online to reflect on process	NCATE Standards 2.4.2, 3.1.8, 3.1.13 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: I.B, II.D and E, III. A. and C and D, IV.A and C, VI.E
Length and Types five to six hour hands-on workshop in a small group with others at the same level and one to two hours follow-up session online	Prerequisite Video Production Techniques and Classroom Management for Technology Use or equivalent

This eCoach opportunity can be bundled with other opportunities in an institute or staff development program with a focus on a particular curriculum area, grade-level, or project. Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase any guide separately.
