This is an opportunity for the Level One (Adoption Level) person who may have taken a course in computer basics or taught themselves how to use the computer but needs a review to update their skills. Some people who use one platform such as the Macintosh and now need to use the PC may find this is the opportunity for them.

Purpose:
to be able to review and demonstrate basic computer operations
Objectives:
  1. review basic operations
  2. use application finder (Mac) or Task Bar (Windows)
  3. create, find, and use files and folders
  4. save and print
  5. understand quit versus close
NCATE Standards:
1.1.1, 1.1.2

ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators:
I.A.

Suggested Length and Types
  • two hour hands-on workshop in a small group with others at the same level or
  • one hour coaching session (one-on-one) 
Prerequisite:
Basic Computer Operations or its equivalent

Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. Specific eCoach opportunities can be grouped together in an institute with a focus on a specific curriculum area. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase guides separately.
