This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge) or Level Two (Instructional) person who wants to create a student email project. Align project to content standards. Review ways to teach appropriate use and netiquette to your students. Expect to review different classroom management strategies for setting up grouping or rotation strategies. Develop an organized system for your students to manage their messages.

Purpose
to be able to develop a student email project and strategies to organize and manage the project
Objectives
  1. attach and receive files in different formats
  2. create a student email project where they use netiquette 
  3. organize their messages into folders
NCATE Standards:
1.3.4,   2.3.2

ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators:
I.B,  II.E,  III.A,  V.D

Types of Opportunities:
  • two - three hour hands-on small group workshop with others at the same level or
  • one hour one-on-one coaching
Prerequisite 
Email Me and I'll You or its equivalent

This eCoach opportunity can be bundled with other opportunities in an institute with a focus on a particular curriculum area, grade level, or project. Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. We will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase guides separately.
