eCoach Opportunity:
Student Created Databases

This is an opportunity for the Level Two (Instructional) or Level Three (Mentor Level) person who uses and creates databases for projects and personal use. Review your curriculum and develop a project that involves students working in teams to create a database that other students will use. Align project with content standards. This workshop can be used to develop a template for a project or for each student to use for their own electronic portfolio. Use a discussion board to share strategies, resources, and successes with other teachers.

Purpose to be able to develop a template or project where students create databases
Objectives design a student project that involves creating databases that other students can use with different layouts, images, and a variety of reports align content standards with project develop an assessment strategy that includes a rubric and an electronic portfolio deliver and assess project concepts and skills share results and strategies online with other teachers	NCATE Standards: 1.3.3 , 3.1.2 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: II.E , III.A , Cand D , IV.A , V.D
Types of Opportunities: five to six hour hands-on small group workshop with others at the same level and online discussions moderated by facilitator	Prerequisite Customized Reports or its equivalent
