Effective Professional Presentations

This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge) or Level Two (Instructional Level) person who has created an electronic presentation and wants to use professional presentation techniques. Creating a presentation is more than putting text and graphics in a slide show. To do an effective presentation, you need to know how to target your audience and understand the purpose of the presentation. Content is important, but how you present the content is crucial. This opportunity provides you the personal coach you need to develop a presentation that will wow your audiences.

Purpose to be able to create and deliver a professional presentation
Objectives brainstorm and storyboard ideas cluster and categorize main points develop presentation determined by target audience, goal and purpose of presentation create or redesign presentation that includes proper colors and contrast for room include relevant images, video, sound, animation or hyperlinks review timing practice presentation techniques with computer connected to projector or TV	NCATE Standards: 1.2.4, 2.2.5, 2.4.1, 2.4.7 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: I.B., IV. B., V. A., C. and D.
Types of Opportunities: five to six hour hands-on small group workshop with others at the same level and follow-up session or two hour coaching session one-on-one with follow-up session	Prerequisite Using DrawTools and Managing My Desktopor its equivalent

This eCoach opportunity can be grouped together with other opportunities and participants at the same level in an institute with a focus on a particular curriculum area and grade level or as coaching one-on-one. The follow-up session can be one-on-one with the participant being videotaped. If you are interested, we can prepare your coaches to offer this opportunity onsite for a separate fee. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase any guides separately.
