Create a Kid Pix Slide Show

This is an opportunity for the Level One (Knowledge Level) person who wants to create individual Kid Pix slides and incorporate them into a slide show. Kid Pix Studio Deluxe is a paint program with interesting new features that we will explore. Expect to capture images either from a digital camera or from other sources and import them into your slide show. Then add special effects and comments to the pictures. Create a storyboard and add transitions and sound to the slide show.

Purpose to be able to create a slide show presentation using Kid Pix Studio Deluxe
Objectives create separate Kid Pix pictures and save to folder develop storyboard for organization of slide show import pictures into Slide Show program add transitions and sound save as slide show in folder with pictures and as stand-alone slide show review curriculum and develop activity for students to create Kid Pix slide show	NCATE Standards: 1.2.2, 2.4.2 ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators: I.A., V. C. and D.
Types of Opportunities: five to six hour hands-on workshop with others at the same level or two hour one-on-one coaching sessions with follow-up session	Prerequisite Using PaintTools and Managing My Desktopor its equivalent
