This is an opportunity for the Level One (Adoption Level) person who wants to use draw tools to create a minibook to use with primary students or to have intermediate and above students create their own minibook about a theme or topic. It is important to have had some draw skills before taking this opportunity. Minibooks are created using AppleWorks/ClarisWorks.

Purpose 
to be able to create a minibook using draw tools
Objectives
  1. use template to create a minibook for students
  2. set up minibook around lesson
  3. import graphics 
  4. rotate text and images to fit minibook
 NCATE Standards:
2.2.1, 3.1.2

ISTE Standards and Performance Indicators:
I. B., V. C.

Types of Opportunities:
  • two to three hour hands-on workshop or 
  • one hour coaching on specific minibook one-on-one
 Prerequisite 
Paint and Draw Toolsor its equivalent

This eCoach opportunity can be bundled with other opportunities in an institute with a focus on a particular curriculum area and/or grade-level or as coaching as part of your staff development program  We can prepare your coaches to provide this opportunity onsite for a separate fee  Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase guides separately.
