This is an opportunity for the Level One (Adoption Level) person who wants to capture images with either a digital camera, scanner, or from the Internet. Each peripheral can be presented in separate workshops for opportunities for practice and hands-on time. We recognize how more schools are acquiring these resources and there is a variety of types available. We work with different brands and provide examples of activities where others captured images for curriculum projects.

Purpose
to be able to use a variety of peripherals or the Internet to capture images to use in documents
Objectives
  1. demonstrate ability to capture images with digital camera, scanner, or from Internet
  2. use software to transfer images to computer
  3. use software to manipulate and modify images
  4. save images in different formats

Types of Opportunities:
  • two to three hour hands-on small group workshop if trying to cover one or two of the sources above or build around curriculum to include one of the peripherals as part of a project or 
  • one to two hour one-on-one coaching 
Prerequisite 
Create a Simple Flyeror its equivalent

Our coaches can prepare your coaches to provide this service onsite for a separate fee. This eCoach opportunities can be grouped together in an institute with a focus on a particular curriculum area, grade-level, or project or coaching can be included in your staff development program. Our coaches will include relevant eCoach guides as part of any opportunity or purchase guides separately.
