Instructional Time: 45 minutes

Process:
After groups edit their maps, students will use their information to complete the answers to their subsidiary questions.

Groups use the information on their outline map and subsidiary questions to complete a Position Statement. You may decide to distribute the Rubric for Scoring Settlement Site at this time.

HSS.6.2. Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the early civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Kush.
