Core Understandings
- It is important to your development to know how you learn and adapt to learning environments.
- School is more about getting a grade, it involves understanding who you are and where you are going, and being able to lay out a road map to get yourself there.
- Growth as an artist takes a lifetime of little projects all put together.
Learning Objectives
- Students will learn how to create an online portfolio using the online portfolio tool. They will demonstrate this knowledge by creating an online portfolio that shares work created throughout the semester.
- Students will be able to reflect on their learning in class, growth as artists, and on their overall development. These reflections will be written alongside work on the online portfolio.
- Parents/Guardians and the teacher will dialogue with each student regarding their learning in class, growth as artists, and overall development. This dialogue will take place in class, at home, and in the comments of the online portfolio.
