Islamic Trading Game
Kent Fitzsimmons, Peter Mates, Connie Sutton and other 7th grade teachers are working on an online Islamic Trading Game. In the game, students research and learn about the influence of Islamic beliefs,
and the growth of Arabic trade and scholarship.

Around the Ancient World in 180 Days
Tanja Z., 6th grade teacher at Bret Harte Middle School, developed a year long standards-based web activity that teaches students about the geography of ancient world cultures. Students are asked to prepare for a journey around the world by exploring the terrain, climate and life styles of ancient cultures.

USA Time Travel Game
Connie is continuing her work on the USA Time Travel Game for 8th grade. Studnets work in teams to research information about U.S. History from the 1800s-1850s.

African Mask Project
Leilani Carbonell, worked with other teachers to create an African Mask website to help 7th graders learn about the significance of masks in African culture.
