Request Feedback from your eCoach

You are creating a website, lesson, or project with My eCoach�s Universal Builder and you need help. If you are part of a team and have an eCoach, you can now request feedback on each and any page you are working on. You get a pop-up with your eCoach(es). Choose one and send request for help. All communication between you and your eCoach is private and confidential. Only you and your eCoaches can see your comments and the eCoach replies. When you receive a comment, you get a message in My eCoach and an email notification if you set that up in your settings. You can also see a comment icon next ... more...

My eCoach offers lots of tools and many of them are not as conspicuous for members. If you are on a team and have an eCoach, your eCoach can provide you ongoing feedback and support to help you meet your learning goals. Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) Members can create an ILP about a specific goal. The power of the ILPs are how they are interactive and allow feedback. ILPs were created to put in one goal with where you are currently and where you want to be by a specific time. You can add 5 steps and concerns. Pinellas eMentor Cross-Age Cross Curriculum Projects

Pinellas County Schools received the EETT grant again to expand the cross-age cross curriculum projects they started in 2006. Barbara spent a week with a fantastic group of eMentors from Kings Highway Elementary School and John F. Kennedy Middle School. The focus is on science where there will be six new cross-age projects. The 12 eMentors mapped the curriculum, looked for gaps in the standards and where their students needed more engaging projects. The topics so far include the Changing Earth, Forms of Energy, Habitats and Life Cycles, Force and Motion, Ecology and Ecosystems, and Space. This ... more...

Standards, Resources, and Programs - Oh My!

Up to Standards Every state�s content standards are available in My eCoach. We add standards based on community requests. Some communities have asked us to add professional, technology, and even local standards. Check your standards from the left menu and add any resources to your standards. These will then go to our eLibrary for review and publishing. Resources Galore! Look for thousands of new resources in our eLibrary. The New Teacher Center (UCSC), CA: adding more principal candidates across seven regions using the customized Individual Development Plan (IDP) builder. This year some will be providing evidence on their ePortfolios. San Diego County of Education Leadership Services, CA: adding another 200 administrators as part of the required AB 430 training required for their admin clear credential.
